I'm originally from California and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. After having poems and short-stories published in school magazines, I had a short story submitted to a literary festival from my high school. I joined the navy at nineteen and met my future husband while stationed in Nea Makri Greece. We raised two boys and lived in Puerto Rico, California and Guam before transferring to Washington, DC.  Settling in Virginia, I again pursued my love of writing. I joined the Riverside Writers chapter of the Virginia Writers Club and worked as a free-lance editor.

As well as being published in, I edited their second anthology, Riverside Echoes. I designed and edited their website until October 2011. I worked as a historical editor for The Wild Rose Press and write book reviews for the Historical Novel Society's magazine, Historical Novels Review.

My first novel, The False Light, was published in 2010, followed by my second, Elysium, in 2011.
